Restore the Original Game Files First
If you have applied the previous patch, first use Restore Official.bat or restore the original files through Steam. This is an important step because it clears the previously modified files and replaces them with the official game files.
What Changed
- Players who have this patch applied can now see each other's custom skins.
- If you have a skin that is exclusive to you, it is protected by default.
-
Custom rooms can now install and use skins and are no longer limited to the normal lobby.
This fixes an issue previously mentioned in the development log.
-
Transfer indicators are now implemented so you can visually see when your skin is uploading
and when another player's skin is downloading.
This was also previously mentioned in the development log as an item to be fixed and polished.
Current Limitations
- In a custom match lobby, spectators currently do not trigger the other player's skin download. You need to be in a Playing slot and then re-select the skin.
- Try Mode currently does not support displaying custom skins.
Small Current Server
The project is currently running on a small server, so server-related issues can happen. These issues should not affect normal gameplay.
